Marlo Laz
A luxury shopping voyage

New York-based jewellery brand Marlo Laz's store is known for its immersive visual experience, with a North African aesthetic and desert tones. Our challenge was to translate this vibrant brand identity into an inspiring digital shopping destination that evokes wanderlust and bohemian luxury.

01 An evolved brand identity

By redefining Marlo Laz’s colour palette and typographies, we helped to update and expand their brand identity digitally with a visual language that captured the immersive visual experience and desert aesthetic of the brand’s in-person shopping experience.

02 Digitising the Marlo Laz experience

Taking the core elements of the brand and its pieces, we established a vibrant aesthetic experience online. This included identifying evocative shapes, symbols, and colours and infusing them into the site’s functional elements.

03 Spotlighting the products

To pay tribute to the high quality of Marlo Laz’s artisanal, luxury products, we included elements that would illustrate the brand’s own creative journey – from a mood board and scrapbook-style images to handwriting-esque typography.

04 A playful user journey

Starting from the site’s editorial-inspired homepage, we established an immersive user journey that highlights the products through statement imagery, playful copy, user-friendly navigation, and simple, engaging product pages.

Outcome

We set up a fully integrated and scalable shop system for the brand, powered by Shopify – leaving the door open for future projects and growth.
