As Creme Guides was scaling their online magazine, they realised what they needed was a new website that would promote their premium aesthetic and their city guides. We teamed up with the Berlin-based brand to relaunch their online presence, in order to better showcase the beautiful lifestyle and travel locations they feature through a playful yet sophisticated look.
As Creme Guides was scaling their online magazine, they realised what they needed was a new website that would promote their premium aesthetic and their city guides. We teamed up with the Berlin-based brand to relaunch their online presence, in order to better showcase the beautiful lifestyle and travel locations they feature through a playful yet sophisticated look.
By reworking the brand’s art direction, colour concept, and illustrations – scattered throughout the site, to cultivate a sense of imagination and wonder – we established a refined new look and feel.
With usability in mind, we redesigned the website from the ground up and worked on improving the information architecture to optimise the user experience. We also brought the brand to life with a new visual language and artistic direction based on an elegant, feminine aesthetic.
After a content audit, we set about upgrading all aspects of onsite SEO, from providing new page titles, to meta descriptions and URLs. Additionally, we optimised important landing pages through refined keywords and revamped copy.
With the relaunch, we improved the site’s most important metrics and boosted traffic by 30%. The new design also vastly increased inbound leads for advertisement. Over all, the relaunch established Creme Guides as one of the leading independent lifestyle and travel online magazines for the German-speaking market.
