To make the collaboration as effective as possible, HY.AM’s product designers fully integrated themselves into several Home24 departments – with key stakeholders even moving into the client’s office part-time. To stay ahead of the curve we conducted extensive market research, expert workshops, dozens of user interviews, and continuous A/B tests to find solutions that would perform well commercially while also fostering a premium brand experience for the customer.
To create a user journey built on findability, discovery, and engagement, we developed a fresh new visual concept across all of the client's platforms – from a refreshed online shop and campaign microsites to multiple native apps. During our long partnership, we recreated and improved nearly every digital customer touchpoint and transformed the client into a mobile-first brand, helping to shape Home24 into one of Europe’s leading home and living e-commerce platforms.

Working with Home24’s 150,000-product strong catalogue, we streamlined the online shop’s upper funnel – making it possible to access over 90% of all product categories in just one simple click. Next, we refined all filters on the product listing page so that customers could quickly and easily find what they needed. Lastly, we created a completely new product detail page flexible enough to accommodate any possible product – from simple chairs to configurable wardrobes – while also maintaining a polished brand experience.

To support the client’s special campaigns, seasonal events, and product launches throughout the course of our collaboration, we developed several custom microsites. We also played a key role in the launches of the highly successful private labels Kinx and Smood.

After the website’s launch, Home24 increased their conversion rate by more than 15%. Meanwhile, the iOS app we developed for the client was awarded Apple’s “Top 25 Apps of the year" in Germany. Five years on from this collaboration, the core of our work for the client remains in use across all platforms.
