Casper, American mattress company and pioneer of bed-in-a-box products, first entered the French market back in 2017. A few months (and ad campaigns) later, the company was hungry for a fresh take on boosting local brand awareness. Without in-house capacities of their own, they enlisted our help for their first major out-of-home (OOH) campaign for the French market.

After extensive research into the national audience and their sleeping habits, we established a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and the market at large.
Using clever word play, and several witty French sayings – all focused on the topic of sleep – we then designed a fun, accessible OOH campaign to run in the Paris Metro. We aimed to appeal to a broad audience by sparking curiosity in the city’s commuters.
Through our creative work, we helped to establish a playful, self-deprecating and relatable brand image for Casper in the French market.

The campaign was a success both in its original setting and online. It boosted national brand awareness for Casper and significantly increased their sales.
