We are looking for a Senior Brand Designer with at least five years of experience in brand identity and experience design, and creative storytelling. You will be responsible for leading our branding projects from research to final delivery, developing creative concepts for campaigns, communicating your ideas to internal and external stakeholders, and mentoring junior designers. In this role, you’ll work closely with our project managers, creative team, and developers to create distinctive brands and experiences for our clients.
Lead branding projects from research to final delivery
Conduct creative research to define project plans
Develop brand experiences and creative concepts for campaigns across different platforms and channels
Ideate conceptual brand ideas and turn them into distinct and cohesive brand directions
Conceive the visual look-and-feel of a brand, incl. logo design, typography, colours, layout principles, illustration and icon styles, art direction, and brand application examples for all relevant touchpoints
Develop clear, user-oriented guidelines for the implementation of consistent brand communication.
Communicate with our clients regularly to understand their needs and collect their feedback
Create presentations for client meetings and present them convincingly
Work closely with your team and external stakeholders to ensure creative solutions meet our high-quality standards
Contribute to the studio’s design vision and culture by actively sharing your ideas on projects and initiatives and by offering constructive critique at design reviews regularly
Share your knowledge with your colleagues and be a mentor for junior designers
5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably within a creative agency or branding studio
Track record of outstanding brand identity design and creative storytelling
A problem solver with excellent communication skills and the drive to bring ideas to life
Deep understanding of brand and design systems, with a keen eye for composition, typography, and photography
Interdisciplinary thinking and collaborative working in a fast-paced environment are great fun for you
Curious, explorative and open to trying new ways of working and learning
Keen interest in all things culture, from design, art, and architecture, to music and art
High-level skill in design programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma)
Understanding of peripheral design processes (i.e. art direction and film/stills production, print production)
[Bonus] Experienced in motion and 3D design
Based in Berlin or Europe
Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
