As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying business opportunities and potential clients through account-based marketing, networking, and industry events.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and potential customers, which includes maintaining and updating the CRM system with accurate and relevant data related to business development activities.
  • Identifying services and products to promote and contribute to long-term business partnerships.
  • Leading the pitching process from initial contact to contract negotiations.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals, bids, and quotations in collaboration with team members.
  • Ensuring a coordinated approach to business development initiatives with other agency departments.
  • Preparing regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and progress towards goals.
  • Analysing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conducting market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Contributing to business development strategies and plans.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance business development skills and knowledge.


  • You are fluent in both German and English.
  • You have 4+ years of robust experience in new business, pitching projects, CRM management, and business development management, primarily within dynamic agency environments.
  • You possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can articulate ideas and proposals effectively. Moreover you have proven your negotiation skills during client interactions.
  • You're excited about collaborating closely with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders in a distributed model, fostering a coordinated approach to business development initiatives.
  • You bring the ability to conduct market research, understand industry trends, and contribute to developing effective business development strategies and plans.
  • You are committed to staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance skills and knowledge related to business development.
  • You proactively identify and pursue business opportunities with a track record of achieving sales goals and targets.
  • You are an energetic and positive communicator with a hands-on approach, eager to make an impact.
  • You have outstanding presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A solid network within the creative industry will contribute significantly to the role.
  • A passion for design, fashion, music, and culture is a significant plus.
