The industry-leading American website building company Squarespace was looking to increase brand awareness and drive subscriptions in Germany. They approached us for research-driven insight into the German creative community, in order to craft a campaign strategy and messaging that would resonate with local users.
By conducting online user interviews and focus group workshops, we established a highly personalised approach to gaining authentic insight into this highly competitive market. Through this, we were able to learn how German creatives use website builders and what features, in particular, are the most important to them when it comes to growing their businesses.
In the end, we delivered a specialised Market Insight Report, which helped to define Squarespace’s go-to-market strategy for the German market including distinct customer segments for the campaign. This allowed us to develop highly optimised creatives such as localisations – built to drive brand recognition as well as subscriptions.
